Jan Wilson MBE
I have lived in Haddington since my marriage to Ian in 1969. We have a daughter Gayle and a son Ian.
I became a community councillor in October 1994 and have been chairperson since June 1996. I also am chair of the Haddington Events Group and a member of the Haddington Garden Trust, Haddington Community Development Trust, Haddington Bike and Skateboard Park Group and the newly formed Town Centre Group.
I love Haddington. It is a beautiful town and a great place to stay and bring up a family.
I’ve lived in Haddington from Birth (the Vert was closed for new intakes, so actually born at the Western). I’ve been on the Community Council since around 2010 as the Community is all about what you put into it and take out it – it’s a two way involvement. My speciality is running the Lost Haddington Facebook pages – lots of old photos of all things Haddington!
Moved to Haddington in 2001 from Whitburn in West Lothian where I was an active member of the local Gala Committee for 16 years. Been a member of Community Council since 2014 and also Secretary of Haddington Events Group.
Registered Childminder in Haddington since 2006 . I am married and have 2 children of my own.
I’m Graham, lived here in Haddington for 30 years. Run my own print business, with a part-time security role at the weekends! Never been a huge fan in sports, I’m more your movies and ice cream, and gaming.
Born in Haddington and went to the Knox Academy. Involved in voluntary work for many years. Left Haddington after I got married, but then returned after 40 years away, and now back home!
