Bob Mitchell
took the Chair and welcomed all members to the 2009 AGM. Approval of the 2008 minutes was proposed by
Bob Oliver and seconded by Margaret Ingle.

Chairman’s Report
Jan had a problem printing off the 2009 report but will email it out to members shortly. She once again thanked the members of the Community Council for all their support over the past year.
4.
Election of Office Bearers
John Golightly gave his
intent to stand down as Vice Chair

5. Election of Planning

seconded by Kathryn McDowall. Ico was nominated in his absence.
All the above gladly
accepted these nominations. Bob gave
his intention to remain in the post of Vice Chair for one year only.
6.
Annual Accounts
Emily
had circulated copies of the accounts.
Approval of the annual accounts was proposed by John Golightly and
seconded by Kathryn McDowall
Accountant: Approval to appoint Murray-Zmijewski & Co as
accountant for next year was proposed by Bob Oliver and seconded by Margaret
Ingle
7. Resignations
Jan
received letters of resignation from Ruth Moncrieff, Janet Brent and Colvin
Denholm. She thanked them all for their
help and hard work over their time with the Community Council. These resignations have left the CC with 4
vacancies; 3 for Haddington and 1 for Athelstaneford. Jan asked if the press could put in a mention of this to the
papers.
